Duties

 The Provost and Executive Vice President at Washington State University serves as the University’s chief academic officer and works closely with the President in providing overall direction and leadership for the institution.

The Provost is responsible for all aspects of the University’s academic mission and leads its efforts in the pursuit of academic excellence. Reporting to the President, the Provost and Executive Vice President is responsible for the formulation and implementation of institutional policies and operations, in coordination with vice presidents, chancellors, vice provosts, deans, and university governance.
